ISE-DA Code of Conduct & Membership Agreement
Purpose and Standard of Participation
ISE-DA is a private, curated, advisory platform built on trust, discretion, and long-term relationships with artists, galleries, institutions, cultural partners, and collectors across the global art ecosystem. Access to artists, galleries, institutions, and cultural partners is made possible through long-standing professional relationships built on trust, discretion, and mutual respect.
Participation in ISE-DA is a privilege and reflects a shared commitment to:
Professionalism and respect
Discretion and confidentiality
Cultural awareness and responsible global engagement
Integrity in acquisitions and partner relationships
Protection of the environments and relationships that make this access possible
This Code of Conduct applies to all ISE-DA programs and communities, including:

VIP previews, fairs, receptions, and partner events
Digital programming, group chats, and online communities
Communication with ISE-DA, its team, contractors, and partners
These standards are designed to protect our partners, members, and long-term access within the global art ecosystem. ISE-DA reserves full discretion to determine participation standards, adjust access, limit involvement, or discontinue membership when alignment with these standards is not maintained.
For the purposes of this page, “Member” refers to any individual participating in an ISE-DA program, service, travel experience, or advisory engagement.

Members are expected to:
Communicate respectfully and professionally
Arrive on time and honor program schedules
Follow guidance provided by ISE-DA staff and partners
Conduct themselves appropriately in group and partner settings
Maintain awareness of tone, context, and professional boundaries
Members are expected to maintain professional judgment and conduct at all times during program activities. Members represent both themselves and the broader ISE-DA community. Conduct that disrupts group dynamics or reflects negatively on the program may result in adjusted access.
2. Cultural Awareness and International Engagement
ISE-DA operates across diverse cultural contexts and global communities. Members are expected to engage with awareness and respect across differences of race, ethnicity, nationality, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, disability, and cultural background.
Members are expected to:
Demonstrate cultural sensitivity and respect for local customs
Recognize that they are guests within local ecosystems
Treat local partners, producers, and staff with professionalism
Follow guidance provided by ISE-DA and local collaborators
Respectful and inclusive conduct is essential to maintaining trusted relationships with artists, partners, and institutions.
Conduct that is discriminatory, dismissive, exclusionary, that compromises partner relationships or reflects cultural insensitivity may affect future participation in international programs.
3. Respect for Artists and Studio Environments
Artist studios are professional working spaces. Access is extended through trust and relationship stewardship.
Members are expected to:
Follow all studio protocols communicated by ISE-DA or the artist’s team
Request permission before photographing or recording
Keep discussions focused on the artist’s work and practice
Respect time, space, and professional boundaries
Members may not:

Solicit artists for unrelated projects, services, or introductions
All communication and transactions arising from ISE-DA introductions must be coordinated through ISE-DA.
4. Gallery and Institutional Engagement
ISE-DA facilitates access through trusted relationships with galleries, museums, and institutions.
Members are expected to:
Allow ISE-DA to manage introductions, follow-up, and negotiations

ISE-DA invests significant time and relationship capital in sourcing opportunities and negotiating terms.
Members agree to:
Communicate acquisition interest thoughtfully and responsibly
Confirm interest only when serious intent exists
Proceed in good faith once negotiations or invoicing have begun
Respect that late withdrawal may impact artist and partner relationships
ISE-DA may limit future sourcing or partner access where engagement does not reflect good-faith participation.

ISE-DA introductions and opportunities are provided through a curated professional network.
Members must not:
Purchase directly from artists, galleries, or institutions introduced through ISE-DA without coordination through ISE-DA
Initiate independent negotiations related to ISE-DA introductions
Reconnect privately with partners to pursue opportunities outside ISE-DA
Use ISE-DA access to establish independent commercial or advisory relationships
These expectations apply during and after program participation to any introduction or opportunity facilitated through ISE-DA.
Circumvention may result in loss of future access and membership discontinuation.

ISE-DA programs operate within private, trust-based environments.
Members are expected to maintain confidentiality regarding:
Pricing, discounts, and negotiation terms
Acquisition details and private collections
Partner relationships and contact information
Program itineraries and private opportunities

Seek introductions for unrelated ventures or personal projects
Request personal introductions or social access to other members outside the context of program activities
Expect personal availability outside established communication channels
Request access to ISE-DA’s network outside structured program opportunities

ISE-DA operates on a curated access model. Participation in advanced opportunities is selective and not guaranteed.

International travel programs
Studio visits and private collection visits
VIP previews and partner events
Limited-access acquisition opportunities
Access decisions are based on:
Professional conduct and reliability
Respect for partner environments
Consistency of engagement and follow-through
Readiness for the level of visibility and responsibility required
Overall alignment with ISE-DA standards
ISE-DA reserves full discretion to extend, limit, or withhold invitations.
12. Alignment Review and Participation Assessment
ISE-DA periodically reviews participation to ensure continued alignment with program standards and partner expectations.
Participation may be evaluated if:
Professional conduct is inconsistent
Program structure or boundaries are not respected
Partner relationships may be affected
Acquisition engagement does not reflect good-faith intent
Members seek access beyond their current level without demonstrated readiness
Following review, ISE-DA may maintain current access with guidance, limit participation, or adjust the scope of engagement.
13. Access Adjustment and Observation
Where appropriate, ISE-DA may adjust participation before discontinuation.
This may include:
Limiting participation in specific programs or environments
Restricting access to partner-facing opportunities
Maintaining membership at the current level without expansion
Requiring a period of demonstrated alignment before additional access is considered
These measures are designed to protect partner relationships and ensure readiness for high-visibility environments.
14. Suspension or Discontinuation of Participation
ISE-DA reserves the right to adjust access, suspend participation, or discontinue membership at its discretion where conduct or engagement:
Compromises partner relationships
Circumvents ISE-DA advisory services
Violates confidentiality or professional boundaries
Disrupts group environments or program operations
Compromises the professional relationship with ISE-DA partners, collaborators, or staff
Is not aligned with the level of discretion and professionalism required
Program fees are non-refundable where participation is discontinued due to conduct or policy violations.
15. Shared Commitment
ISE-DA is designed as a private, high-trust environment for serious collectors and cultural stewards.
These standards exist to protect:
Artists and cultural partners
Member experience and privacy
The integrity and credibility of the network
Long-term access and opportunity for the community
