ISE-DA | Temperature Check São Paulo 2025
Effective as of: June 1st, 2025
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your participation in Temperature Check São Paulo, taking place September 2–7, 2025 (“the Program”), organized by ISE-DA LLC (“ISE-DA,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). By completing your payment and registering for the Program, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Program Overview
Temperature Check São Paulo is a curated cultural immersion exploring Black cultural legacy through artist studio visits, institutional walkthroughs, gallery tours, and private events. Participation includes access to the official group programming, accommodations, select meals, and on-the-ground facilitation by ISE-DA.
2. Eligibility & Participant Responsibilities
You must be 21 years of age or older and possess a valid passport to travel to Brazil during the Program dates.
Participants are responsible for:
Booking and paying for their own flights
Obtaining valid travel documents (passport, visas, vaccinations if applicable)
Ensuring compliance with any travel advisories or entry requirements for Brazil
Holding valid travel insurance (recommended but not required)
3. Payment Terms
The total Program Fee is payable via PayPal on the ISE-DA website. Your space in the Program is not confirmed until payment is received in full. The payment fee is determined by your selected tier.
All fees are stated in U.S. Dollars unless otherwise indicated. Payment methods accepted include credit card or debit card. ISE-DA does not accept cash or wire transfers.
4. Cancellation & Refund Policy
All payments are non-refundable, except in the case that ISE-DA cancels the Program in its entirety.
If you are unable to attend, you may submit a written request to transfer your spot to another eligible participant, subject to approval by ISE-DA. No guarantees are made regarding the ability to accommodate transfers.
ISE-DA reserves the right to cancel, modify, or reschedule the Program due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, civil unrest, or venue restrictions (“Force Majeure”). In such cases, ISE-DA will communicate alternative arrangements, which may include rescheduling or partial credit for future programs.
5. Program Changes
ISE-DA reserves the right to make changes to the Program itinerary, accommodations, collaborators, or schedule due to logistical, partner, or curatorial considerations. Such changes will be communicated to participants in a timely manner. Program adjustments will not entitle participants to refunds or financial compensation.
6. Code of Conduct
Participants are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful, responsible, and culturally sensitive manner throughout the duration of the Program.
ISE-DA reserves the right to remove any participant from the Program, without refund, if their behavior is deemed disruptive, offensive, or dangerous to others, including collaborators, hosts, or fellow participants.
7. Photography & Media Consent
By attending the Program, you grant ISE-DA permission to photograph and record you during Program events. These images and recordings may be used for documentation, marketing, and archival purposes in print or digital media, unless you opt out in writing before the Program.
Participants also consent to the limited sharing of their bio and headshot with cultural institutions, collaborators, and galleries for the purpose of professional introductions and event coordination.
8. Privacy & Data Usage
ISE-DA will collect personal information (e.g., contact details, bio, headshot, dietary restrictions) solely for the purpose of Program administration. We will not sell or disclose your information to third parties for commercial use.

9. Limitation of Liability
Participation in the Program is voluntary and at your own risk. ISE-DA is not responsible for:
Travel delays, missed flights, or cancellations
Illness, injury, or theft
Loss or damage of personal property
Costs incurred due to changes in itinerary or accommodation
Participants are encouraged to obtain comprehensive travel insurance for the duration of the Program.
10. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of [Insert State], United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising out of or related to these Terms shall be resolved in the courts located in [Insert County/City, State].
